Ah, crap I wanted to taste it too! Apologies I didn't find you for a proper goodbye, hope the ride home was smoother than the monsoon coming in. Fun show all around great seeing everyone out and the biggest Yarn Crier crowd yet. My board patch was too distorted but both my audience sources sound great working on it now...

Listening to a Facebook live now. Can't wait for the recordings to get up.

    Two new songs!

I was away on vacation for a week and they played 2 new songs. Looks like I missed a good one. It's been forever since Jay Wall jammed with the band.
  10.
Earlbny, that is what I thought, but I believe this is Jeremy Wall (Spiro Gyro), not Jay Wall.

I am sure somebody else will correct me if I am wrong...
  11.
    It was Jay Wall.

Tight set, can't go wrong at the Crier. After 6 shows here, you can tell they are comfortable in this place. Love the new(er) songs; Hurricane is a moody epic, really takes me somewhere! Here is my source, enjoy loudly :)

Great work cd. The band never sounded better. I LOOOOVE the new songs.
  13.
How do you get the crowd to stay so quiet? Did you bring a team of librarians?!?! Great recording! More proof to the argument that location matters more than your microphone type.

Thanks. empty, it's a dinner club with a generally very cooperative audience and a great spot to tape from up front for a nice mix of the PA and stage volume. Reckless and I have it on lockdown :) Well worth the trip to see a Crier show!
  14.
yeah, I'm used to the rowdy crowds down here. City Winery is opening a DC location for Americana Music. Hopefully Yarn can get over there. I'll keep the Crier on the radar for the future. Always like going to NY.

I saw Yarn at city Winery in NY and I am not a big fan. Way to much talking and no place to dance. Most people came for the food and drinks.

Yeah earl I have to agree with that; saw Blue Rodeo there and it was intimate but a bit too NYC "busy".

It always makes for an enjoyable evening when Yarn (or any band for that matter) plays a venue where the bar area is separate from the room itself. Unfortunately most rooms do not fit that bill, always a treat when they do. Just a for instance City Winery NYC great venue but it's a echo chamber. We will never figure out why people spend money to see a show and talk all night. Life goes on, see you all soon.

This is a really good set, thanks for taping.

I had no idea Jay Wall's real name was Jeremy, I had only ever heard him referred to as Jay Wall...glad to hear him playing with the guys again. I've always thought they sounded good with Sax.
