Welcome, Guest

First time posting, been lurking since the start. I left a concert here in Wilmington last night and had a realization. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced a supreme let down when going to see other performers live. I usually leave the shows and have the mindset of "that was cool, but not even close to a YARN show". It sucks because I'm getting gun-shy on spending $$ on other bands and only get to see the fellas every few months. If it gets much worse, I'm gonna have start thinking about moving back to NYC so I could get my YARN fix on a more regular basis :)

    Lol!

    Welcome to 5G Raliegh.

I've seen Yarn ten times now since April and yes, I've enjoyed the other stuff I attend less because of Yarn. Saw a couple of Max Creek shows....an old fave but damn, I missed Blake's singing....saw the New Riders...missed the great songs.

S'all good except that now there's no scheduled Yarn shows in New England for the rest of the year :( Hoping the guys shoot up to Manchester, CT at least once before X-mas.

Thanks RC, I am patiently waiting for the NYE show scheduled for Raleigh. I moved from Raleigh to Wilmington at the beginning of the summer and wasn't able to attend their last couple shows in Ral. (I'm having withdraw issues).lol. I will keep my fingers crossed that the guys make it up your way soon!!

Ah ha - this must be the place I'm looking for! Hi, my name's Amy... :) But seriously - with seven shows in the Raleigh area over the past tweleve months, how could you not get strung out on Yarn! (And it would have been eight if not for the crazy-ass tornados!)

HA... this is too funny Raleigh... In my house we have a Yarn scale... when we see a band the question is "How did it rate on the Yarn scale?" Other bands don't come close.
    12 Steps...
Step 1: We admit we were powerless over the music—that our lives had become unmanageable.
