Great show as always. I kept track if the setlist but Hill Country has bad cell phone service. Full setlist real soon. Quick highlights after the show Blake asked me if I had a good time. What a silly question. Lol of course I did its Yarn. They could resist the phone book and I would have fun. Lol I got be a honery rodie tonight and help Blake load up the van. So cool. More to come. Stay tuned....

    Start of show 10:12

    Let Us Pray
    Tennessee
Down On Your Luck (Intro while Blake changes guitar)
Dark Skies (Bobby's playing with brooms as brushes)
Christopher Street (Andrew is in the zone and on fire) (not as long as long as 4-17-11 but best I've seen in person)
    More (nice Sax intro)
Banter about Demons and sub letting Blake's apartment thanks for pissing on Blake's couch
    Bad Bad Man
Salt Creek>Woman On The Interstate (Funky Sax intro after salt creek)
Banter about the end of the world
Shine The Light (Shane's helping out with the chorus) (people are slow dancing) (good sing along) (come on NY let's show the south how cool we are) (for Jesus) (Jesus don't count)
Its all over now (its a dance party now)
    Almost Home
    NYC Found (whoops!
Ricky B's amp for his bass stops working right as Blake calls for a solo. The band just continues on with a drum solo and so on . Rather then stop the rest of the band picks up his slack and the misic never stops nor do they skip a beat. Next time around Ricky B' has his amp fixed and ready to go.)
You Don't Know How It Feels
Guest on Bass Andrew something? MR Rocklin?
    Road House
Don't Break My Heart Again (trippy) (tribal drum solo) (Ricky B solo)(Jay Wall solo) (Night Train) 11:52 -12:14
I watched this girl go from I am here to drink and talk to becoming hooked and dancing in her seat. That drum solo did it. She has a huge smile on her face. Yarn will do that to you. The guy she was with bought a CD.
Shane's on stage and on lead
Rama Lama Ding Dong (what a great song and even better cover)
    Dear Mamma

    12:30 End of show

Ricky B found the fan. It was hot on stage.

I think Sue not only made it but sat across from me. I am very shy and I was not sure if it was her.

At around 4:30 AM I finally made it home and into bed. What a fun night and I can't wait to do it again in OCT.

Great show - Yarn was great at FloydFest but the sets were too short - this show was too short too - but great! Cool venue - NYC is where I grew up so it was cool to see Yarn here- but so far nothing beats a Pour House show in Raleigh ;) Earl I wish you would have said something! ;) Blake, Andrew, Bobby and Ricky were all very cool - asking me how Switzerland was - asking how I enjoyed FloydFest. I'm in OBX for the week then back in exile to Switzerland :( Keep those "tapes" flowing. Can't wait for the new CD

So a 10:12 start with 12:30 finish, nary a mention of set break, and the show was too short, Sue? The guys do spoil us with the marathon shows. And still leave the audience wanting more.

What can I say - I've got a MAJOR Yarn jones going - and I can't see them every 2 months like I'm used to. They're the best goddamn band in the land - I'll always want More, more, more!

I am so sorry I did not say hello sue. Next time I will say hello. I won't be shy. Hill Country was so much fun. They had a bigger turn out then when they used to play on Wednesday. Someday they will play sold out shows at the Garden or will be Peakin at the Beacon. they woon't have to fix a guitar string or amp or load an unload the van.
