There is nothing like a home town gig at Sullivan Hall. It should be a fun night. I hope to see some of you tonight. I want the place to sell out. I also want all of the people that come just to drink and talk to find another bar in town. I don't have any taping gear however I do have Wi-Fi on my phone so at the very least I will provide you all with a live feed of the set list.

That was hands down the most fun I had at a Yarn show since the last Yarn show.
It was a smoker. The band killed it. I don't know how the building is still standing. They could have easily played all night if it was not for another band coming on at 11.
I really would hate to be the bands that follow Yarn. I mean to keep up the energy that they put out is a pretty hard task. I saw Robert Randolph and the Family Band, back in '02 when they were just getting started, open for the North Mississippi All Stars. Well, after RRFB, the All Stars were quite a let down, and I know what a good, high energy band they are. They just couldn't keep that energy going. I think that's how it probably is for the bands that follow Yarn.
I know what you mean. Must be tuff. As I was leaving I saw people walking in. I then thought to myself man are they late. The shows over you missed all the fun. lol I saw the Counting Crows do one of those silly co headline tours with Maroon 5 a few years back at Jones Beach (Long Islands outdoor shed). The Crows went on 1st and M5 closed out the show. The final # of the night for the Crows was a 15 minute epic version of Murder of One. It was loud and intense. After the song was over my friends and I got up and left. We knew there was no way M5 was going to top that. We did not even stay for one single song.
Last night I was in the zone and became one with the band. I started writting down the setlist before the band started to play each song. I knew what they were going to play bassed on the intro to the song or from the band warming up. I sung along and danced to every single song last night. So much fun.
