This was a really good show. I'm listening to the audience source now and it's a vast improvement over the previous OWSC show (that will probably never see circulation). The sound has improved in the OWSC. There were a couple of spots of feedback but nothing major. Christopher Street and Tennessee were particularly rockin'. I'll be posting a few video clips over the next few days. Gotta get a card for the camera so I can get more than 40 minutes of footage.
I really thought my tape would suck when I saw The Loudmouth Josey Wails walk up, but he wasn't too bad last night. He did end up break dancing again, though. I'm running on about 4 hours of sleep with three more Yarn shows over the next three days, so I'm taking tonight off. Looks like 90% chance of precip Saturday, so I may not bother with taping at Cuegrass. Too much hassle protecting the gear.
You aren't kidding... I didn't rememer hearing More either.... I thought it was a pretty fantastic show because I saw 8 songs I had not seen before. Thanks for spreading the music.
Haven't watched them yet, but gonna dump them to the laptop here in a few. Need to find a free program to convert and/or chop the longer clips up. I'll see if i can stream the videos on ustream.
Well, blew off the Raleigh show because of time constraints and weather concerns. But there is an acoustic Yarn show in Brouche's living room this evening, so we go that going for us.
Yeah, that is going to be a blast... I can't wait to hear about it, I would have loved to come, but I will settle for mine in June. Hopefully it will be after the Morganton show.
