Venue? That's not what you called it last time. I hear they have a new karaoke machine there and we can all take turns singing along with Blake. LALALA goin up to Woodstock LALALA. Ya buddy I'll be there.
Well I'll trade you....I won't sing if you'll snag me a copy of bgreen's 2/19 Outer Banks show. Could you do me a big favor and bring along a copy of that one on Friday? I'd really appreciate it~
You got it. Are there any other ones you want? Ask away, it's no trouble. If you are worried about imposing you can always repay me in adult beverages.
Well thanks mister....actually, the only shows I have from pretty much the entire front page here are the Stella's that I taped and the Nectar's that tous made me so any others you may still have on hard drive somewhere would be great but don't knock yourself out.....it ain't like I don't have enough Yarn! ;)
First off, big thanks to Buckheart for spinning me up a bunch of stuff. Another fantastic show very well played and I've never heard the sound so crisp at this venue as it was last night. I got an idea for clamping my mics above the audience like I did last weekend so I make a pair of holders in my shop this week and they worked out perfectly. I separated the mics by about 5ft and each pointed straight into the main stacks. The sound guy ran a sweet stereo feed with Andrew loud left and Rod loud right, vocals nice and crisp. Haven't sampled it yet but barring some tape mishap, it should sound really really good.

.....as always, thanks to the band for allowing us to tape and for being the best god damned band in the land!
It was a great show. Good energy, good sound. When do these guys ever not kick ass. I like how the songs have changed over time. Ricky B hangs in with the drum solo and it seemed a lot more cohesive. What is the riff that Rod teases at in Abilene? I know it just can't name it right off. And, I want to thank the Reverend Blake Christiana (Shine the Light) for helping me find my dancing shoes.
That's actually been bantered about here. Consensus is that it's a Dazed And Confused riff.
I'll try to master this today during of course, The Masters. Heard a little tweek of noise at Andrew's highs late in the tape but I'll have to see when it's all done.
Dazed and Confused... that makes sense. I am pretty new on here so, I haven't had a chance to read everything yet. Ha. Yarn fever has hit me over the past few months and I can't shake it. My students in fifth grade are starting to request songs to play in the classroom. Glad a friend introduced me to this awesome band.
Well we're certainly glad to have you aboard. Say hello at the next show.....there's usually a few of us 5G folks at Northeast shows. I'll prolly be at the Putnam Den next month.....ponytail, ball cap and mic stand should narrow it down ;)
Thanks Reckless. I am down here in North Cackalacky. I have met hoppedup on several occasions and will probably see him this week. Looking forward to Wednesday's show.
Been listening to this one since you put it up. Really great. Thanks a bunch Mr. Reckless for doing the taping and Thank you Mr Tous for putting this up on archive. i really appreciate all the work you guys do to keep us Yarnaholics knee deep in Yarn.
