Tous will probably miss this one. Mrs. Tous is not cooperating. Seems her job is interfering with real life!
He's definitely not making the Black-Eyed Sally's gig. Scored tix for the T-Bone Burnett Speaking Clock Revue in Boston that night. Elton John, Leon Russell, Elvis Costello, Neko Case, John Mellencamp, Ralph Stanley, Gregg Allman, Jeff Bridges, & the Punch Brothers! Happy Birthday to me indeed.
Ha Ha, Hey man, I already ate crow on this one. Read the 3/6/10 review! The 10/23 show was on a Friday so the chatting was horrible and the sound guys fucked up all night long. 3/6 was a Saturday, crowd was great and the sound was much improved so I've done a 180 on that.
Don't Break My Heart Again opener and a Lovelight closer with the usual current gems in between. Sound was good and the recording's decent if off balance some. That room just gets so chatty that I stayed off to the side.
Got to hear Bottle Of Wine and yup, it's another keeper. There was a warm up band so the Yarn was a tad shorter than usual but it made for a nice quiet time with drinks and food down the street before they took the stage. Nice to see Buckheart again.
Not too much to say beyond the usual accolades. I'll post the setlist after I sort it out correctly~
The basic hold-up on this one is that I'm re-working this show. It sounds great but I'm leveling off the balance and such as I'm just now learning to use Audacity. I'll be back with the setlist soon!
