Each album tops the one before it. Don't get me wrong they are all good but each new song just gets better and better. Here are some old school Jams they never play. Some of them date back to 06 maybe eariler. They are songs that I have found at the http://www.archive.org/details/YarnMusic site, the http://www.blakechristiana.com/ site, & FB & Myspace & YT sites as well.

    On The Radio
    Big City Bright Lights
    I'm To Blame
    Cast Off Angels
    Oncoming Train
    Old flame
    Dear Aunt Elsie
Blue skies, Brighter Times, & roses
    Let Me In
    Johnny Got Wrecked

Great stuff earlbny, I def missed a few.

I asked Andrew about Rock You Ready last week and he said that they just felt like they really didn't nail it in the studio this time around.

One of my faaaaavorites is Bring Me Down......you can break my heart....
  3.

Thanks. Just doing my part. Rock you ready is a killer tune as is every Yarn tune. I can't get enough. I bet there are more killer tunes we have never heard. I bet track #7 on the 5th and 6th album are going to be killer. lol

yarn not nailing something? I am shocked? Maybe they are human after all? lol

I love Bring Me Down. The first time I heard it was during an evening run. I was on the boardwalk in my town looking out at the ocena when it came on. When it finished I played it again and again and agin. I did not finish that show.

Now I have to listen to RYR and BYD. I need my fix.

Blake's already said that "Annie" would be on the new one.

I also get the sense that they've retired "Don't Worry 'Bout Me", the Roadhouse gig notwithstanding. Sub in "It's All Over Now" for that one.

"On The Road" would be a great "bonus live cut".

All great choices above, I' d like to see Desperate Amy added to the list.

In the ever changing "my favorite Yarn song" - that is currently it.

I guess most of us know the band is currently in Nashville recording an EP. Anyone spent any time looking at recent set lists to see what few songs are apppearing more than others? You think there are hints out there as to what songs will be on this?

    Tired of Everything
    Take Me Out Misery

    And two from this list:

    Singing Jim Croce

This should link to a FB album that Andrew put up. One photo shows a list of songs: Liquor Love, Tired of Everything, It's All Over Now, Annie, Almost Home, Take Me Out Misery, and Desperate Amy.

Just noticed the lyric sheet under that song list. "Fussin' and a Fightin' ". Wonder if there are issues with calling it "Singing Jim Croce" as we've been.

    thanks brouche, good work,

RC, tous, I agree with the all of the one you noted.

I guess the good news is that there will be that much more stuff "in the can" for the next record.

As an EP, which tous noted maybe to market to labels, and please don't stone me for this next statement, "Bring Me Down" is as close to a pop song or mainstream Nashville country songs as Blake could get and it's even a happy song. Happy shit sells. Maybe I haven't heard it live yet to compare but as the studio bonus track I've listened to it over and over. If the EP is to appeal to labels and a wider audience "Bring Me Down" would be a definite.

Maybe Blake should sell it to the TobyKeithUrbanZacBrown Band for $ 2,000,000, they could cut it down to two chords add and 3 minutes length, add some fiddle, and make a hokey video with copious amounts of old pickup trucks, cowboy hats, big busted girls in cutoff jean shorts riding down dirt roads. I can see it now on CMT.

Great video. Another reason why I love Yarn.
  10.
I was gonna have another crack at this but cripes, there's so many new songs. One song that I really think should be included is the Christmas Song. Sounds silly I guess but you know, having a really great Christmas song gets an album played annually forever. Plus, it always chokes me up.....great song.

    Rock You Ready
    Lou Ann
    On The Road
    I've Seen The Difference
    Take Me Out Misery
    Let's Get Dark
    Bring Me Down
    You See The Sun
    Turn Your Lights On
    Don't Worry 'Bout Me
    Tired Of Everything
    Bottle Of Wine
    Reckless
    I've Seen The Difference
    Singing JIm Croce
    Annie
    Lonely Old Man(Southern Rock Song)
    It's All Over Now
    Christmas Song
    Desperate Amy
Never Been Much Of A Man
    My Wasted Life
    Dark Skies
    Good lady
    The Dirt Road
    Let Us Pray
    Nashville
    Almost Home
    Let Me In
    Shine The Light
    Bobby Weeks

.....sure is enough to choose from!
