Hell Yeah!! Yarn Added to Bill at From Good Homes @ Waterloo Village!!! ~ 8/03/19
Waterloo Village is a lovely outdoor venue in Stanhope, NJ. Marco Benevento and two other bands on the Bill as well!
I was fortunate enough to have introduced Yarn the last time they played Waterloo. This was during the Andrew era, and was ostensibly Bobby's "last show" with the band, before his hiatus, which, thankfully did not last too long! This is also one of the few recordings I have made that I have uploaded to LMA.
This date was a challenge to us as its our first day of vacation and we are heading to Tennessee for a week of exploring, departing at 4am. Over the weekend we decided to delay our departure to just after the show and will now be attending with all of our friends. I wonder how far we will get that night? If I behave we can go all the way. But I'm not sure I will (or can)!! We are looking forward to seeing our favorite band YARN before heading down for a week of fun. With any luck we will hear Tennessee! See ya all there!!.
I got my GA Tix. (VIP was sold out.) Ironically, I have a Live Radio obligation on WFDU the night of August 3rd, so I will have to leave before FGH even comes on stage! I'm hoping to catch Yarn at least before I have to bug out in time for my 10:00 PM Broadcast. Damn! Bob, do you know Yarn's actual stage times?
Oh well, maybe some of you Yarniacs can tune in to my show on your way out of Waterloo. It airs on 89.1 FM from 10pm - 1am, also streaming at http://wfdu.fm/single/index.php
You can hear 90% of Yarn's full set from Waterloo yesterday in this Archival Podcast of my radio Show from last night. I recorded the set myself, with some patch help from Keith & Johnny C. You can scroll the player the the 2 hour mark if you prefer... For those who missed the Live 'Morning Dew' Broadcast on Saturday night, here is the Archival Podcast Player:
This week, Bob O'Donnell will bring you an Archival 'Morning Dew' from "The Days Between" of August, 2019. There will be some lovely Jerry Garcia Instrumental music, as well as Artists featured at LOCKN FESTIVAL 2019 & 2020. We cap things off with a (nearly) full set of YARN recorded at Waterloo Festival in NJ from earlier that day! "God Bless The Tapers!" ~ Join us!!!
