Reckless, it will be slightly northwest of NYC. Not what you are hoping for, but a piece of the pie...

Bummed I couldn't make this New Years. Any review? Setlist? Recording? Fountain House is a crazy venue. Saw Yarn there with most of RRE years back and had a blast. Would love t hear how it went.

Sorry gentlemen. As usual it was a rockin' good time. All cylinders were firing and in rapid order. The floor was shaking and the crowd was singing. I could not even attempt a setlist as I was way to caught up in the music. One new tune was played and I forgot to ask about it before the boy's had left. I do believe there was at least one taper. I will look into that for sure. At least a half dozen folks who had never seen Yarn before came up to me before the end of the night and gushed over just how damn good they were. I just love this shit. Happy New Year to you all.

Thanks Bob! Happy New Year! Hopefully a recording pops up! That would be awesome. Did they do the AC/DC cover set at midnight or something different? I saw their first NYE cover set in North Carolina at the Pour House where they did a short set of Band tunes (Shape Im in, Ophelia, Dixie down, etc.) and it was amazing!

AC/DC did occupy the midnight hour. I will say it again, they do justice and then some to anyone and everyone they cover. When was that NC show jgoods? I would love to hear that one. Looking forward to another year of chasing these guys around and having a great time doing it. Look forward to seeing many of you soon.

IT was NYE 2009. This clip from right after the countdown. I didnt check archive but I think the show exists on audio somewhere. Drove 13 hours to see this one. Had an absolute blast as always.

    Shape I'm in:

NIght They Drove 'Ol Dixie Down:

Not on the Archive. I have the 12/29/09 and 12/30/09 shows, but there isn't a 12/31. If you have it or come across it I would love to have it. I did enjoy the videos.

At the 12/30 show they did Crippled Creek, Night they Drove Old Dixie Down, Ophelia, The Shape I'm In, The Weight. Spectacular. That was at the Double Door Inn in Charlotte.

Thanks jgoods, very cool videos. You had me digging around out there and found a few other gems. I don't think I have ever heard them do a Band tune.
