Man o man, when I heard the weather, we darn near bailed on the show. I'm very glad I didn't. The show made every minute of the 7.5 hour ride home in a blizzard worth it (usually takes 3). The boys were on fire. Recordings/setlist will be out soon(played a new tune here), came out nice. i was wondering how things would work out when I read this was a listening room. Needless to say, mid song, first song, it became a dance hall. The room is on the second floor and let me tell ya, when the crowd got bouncin, so did the floor. There were times I had to hold the mic stand(clamped to a chair) just to keep it upright. What a great time. We were aiming for the next night in Harrisburg but due to the 2 feet of snow, that one was called off. Looking forward to the rescheduled date.
One thing I will mention is the drummer that sat in, Chris higgenbottom(sp)...... I'll let you listen when the source is up. Kids got some CHOPS!
The slowed down can't slow down was interesting. I really liked the added room it gave you guys to solo and play it out. Winner in my book.
Vid turned out nice man. Always a pleasure, enjoyed seeing you and meeting your better half as well ;)
After I finish my pull of this show, Andrew also handed over 20 or so more discs to get up to archive so keep your eyes open there, one is the earliest recording of Yarn, very fun to hear where they where and listen to where they are now.

This is one of my favorite shows and it's a great recording for a tough hall. I was a scant 20 ft away and pointed one gun right at Andrew's mandolin and Jay's kit. The other was pointed stage right where all the others were fed into the one main bank ....weird. Very quiet attentive crowd so no crowdiness at all.
Add On The Road and Lou Ann and it's a real gem. Again, kudos for posting it, enjoy everyone~thanks Yarn.
