This will be a new venue for Yarn. Seems like they have been going a lot of different places in VA lately. Anyway, look forward to this, as I think it will be my next Yarn show, unless I decide to do something unexpected.
Wayneboro is about 35 miles from me on the other side of Afton Mountain. You would be welcome to stay here and ride with us. Cant say I know any specific hotels and though we have Uber here in cville I kind of doubt it in Waynesboro.
Downhill as in they gained a crazy amount of momentum with every song. Such a great night, I'll get a set list on here at some point. Can't wait for the next one!

I have a lot of thoughts on this show which I may get to later today.
Just wanted to note that by my count they gave us four deep cuts:
Final Bow Yodelay Girl On the Side This whole Zoo
Blake said it had been 9 years since they played Yodelay (but they played it last week for Trevors birthday when he joined them, I guess at Cafe Lena) and 6 years since they played Girl On the Side.
Hope I didn't reverse those, but Im pretty sure thats what he said.
So I taped this show and should be able to edit it soon to share it. Had to leave a few days after the show to work in florida and now have been safely evacuated back to Virginia due to the storm.
Grabbed the board patch but also ran a pair of mics back near the board. The board alone sounds great but a little sterile so hoping mixing a little of the mics in will help.
I've taped yarn a bunch over the years but this is the first time I've seen them since Andrew left. Was worried it would be missing a lot and while I do miss the mando, I think they still sounded really full together.
Probably won't bother much with the opener due to that crazy buzz from the mandolin unless someone specifically wants it.
very pleased to hear (and surprised) that this show was recorded and happy that the deep cuts they played will be able to be shared.
Not sure what your radius is but I live in Central VA and hit most of the shows here (C'Ville, Richmond, Harrisonburg, etc). and if there's anything I can do to facilitate you taping at other shows I'd be happy to do so.
Here's mp3's of the sbd. I kind of forgot about it with the storm and all. Still need to determine the right aud/sbd mix but have 24 bit of it all. SouthernMan, I'm in Fluvanna County between C'ville and Richmond.
