Looking forward to this one! Who else is in? Hope some of you might join me.
Got to thinking the other day that Yarn has played a lot of different venues in C-ville over the years. They played Miller's on some of their early tours, I believe in both March and Sept. of 2007. They played the Gravity Lounge (which I later learned is the same building that is now the Southern, so maybe that isn't a separate venue). They played The Outback Lodge, which I believe went out of business in 2009. They played the Is Venue on Main St., which is also out of business for a number of years, not exactly sure how many. They have played quite a few shows at The Southern, which is their current regular stop. They have at least one show (and I think it is only one) at the Jefferson. I thought they may have played Trax, but my quick internet research tells me that was closed prior to Yarn forming. They have played at least on show at the IX music park. Maybe some other outdoor venues (Jefferson Vineyards?) Anyhow, just wanted to put that all down.
Yarn at the Southern on a Saturday night. Amazing. Got to do one of my favorite things, which is introduce some new people to Yarn.

This is from what I think was the first time I saw them. From the Clementine. 6/23/2011. They had a digital board up in the office/balcony that we could just grab the digital out from. Crazy night.
Loving the new recordings, grabbing every one of them.
At this Yarn show Blake said that they had played at Fellini's as well. I did not know they had played there as well. That must have been early because it is a small corner in the restaurant, sort of akin to Miller's.
