I'm sorry you guys got short sets on Thursday and Friday. Yarn played just short of three hours for us last night. Pretty great. Bobby was thundering away on the drums, Ricky was getting down on the bass, Rod's solos were sublime.
Highlights of the show included an impromptu Chuck Berry tribute. Blake announced he had died (which I had not heard) and said they hadn't had any time to learn any Chuck Berry tunes. So the audience starts calling out titles and they break into Johnny B. Goode, which Blake knew all the words to the first verse...
Look at song 19!! I got my Can't Slow Down!!! It was awesome. I hope it was not a one off but that this re-enters the rotation. It's such a great song and should be played.
I got a little stumped on Take Me Out. Hadn't heard that one before. Ricky said they'd been playing it for a couple of weeks.
Almost lost the last part of my setlist with the worst reason ever. Somehow, and I have no idea how, my phone font got switched to Japanese. So if you ever want to know what Let Me In looks like in Japanese script, well, I'm your man. So that went on for a while until I grabbed my wife's phone and texted myself the last five songs or so in the set. I wasn't even drinking..not sure how that happened.

No Tapers, although sometimes Mott, the sound guy at Clementine's posts a song or two to his Soundcloud channel. Not the whole show, though. If I see something pop up there I will let people know.
Earl, any time you want to head down the Central Virginia (Richmond, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg) for a show you would be welcome.
God Damn that's my favorite tune of theirs. Another great version. Wish we had this whole show at this quality. This set is so strong its silly. And thats saying a lot with Yarn sets. Thanks, Southern!
