I'm going to try to make one of these shows. A bit iffy on both at the moment, though. Anybody headed to Martinsville or Raleigh this weekend?

RALEIGH! Hopped, and every one else for that matter, should try to swing HRBC in Bristol for NYE. Gonna be a real good time. Thr beer has gotten better, $12 pitchers, and shuttle to and from the venue/hotel included

Did they cover Cocaine? Assuming it was similar to the JJ cale version if they did it as opposed to Clapton. Interesting...

Oh... they are preparing for NYE cover set correct? Lots guessed Skynyrd last year and it was Merle. Could we get JJ Cale instead? Cocaine, Call Me the Breeze, After Midnight, etc.

    That would be awesome.......

It started and ended as kind of a joke. One verse and chorus of Clapton Cocaine, then a quasi-mashup with Tequila. Let's get weird indeed.

Show clocks in at just over three hours. It is tracked and flac'd and will be up in a couple of hours. I ran a video camera downstairs so its audio will feature all of Martinsville's latest gossip.

My recording sounds pretty good considering the crowd.

Loved the "Shut the Hell UP" comment by Blake...sadly it was at the start of the encore...Wasn't prepared for the hang out the window action hopped used...ran down in the crowd with the only caveat I got the acoustic Leroy Brown :^)

    Need reports on the Lincoln!

Sounds great. Not all the way through yet. Rod really tore up that Sioux City Gypsy...

Hopped, are you telling me that they played Can't Slow Down last night? It's a Christmas Miracle...that makes my heart happy.

Raleigh is tracked and flac'd. Sorry bastards only gave us 2 1/2 hours last night :) I flew pretty high so it sounds pretty good.

I think we got a new tune last night. I'll check some recent tapes and see if that's the case. Closed with a rockin' 1999.

God Damn good stuff. Thanks hopped. The Loner returns. Our little xmas gift from Rod...

New song kicks ass... shocking right? But I will say it is more uniquely Yarn than other new ones (which I love), but this one stands out as more of a "Yarn could only do song" if there is such a thing.

And this is the jammy-type Yarn show I love the most ..... tons of songs clocking in over 8-11 minutes.... band exploring, jamming, grooving....etc. Keep it up boys and get on the festival circuit this summer please....

Goddam!.....great recording, mix of crowd and songs...awesome.

That Lincoln Theatre show has at least 4 songs that would be encores for most other bands on the planet:

    Roadhouse
    Cat and Mouse
    MOO
    The Loner
