Welcome, Guest

Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. Love that there are a bunch of new recordings up. Can't wait to get to see the Boys on New Year's Eve!

Thanks so much for the fine recording. I'm really enjoying the new shows esp since it's all I've got.

    ...hint hint Yarn!

Hey, track three is Dear Mama I'm So Sorry off the first album.
  3.
....and at least until we get corrected by Drunken Angel, track 18 has been called Look To The Future.

...and "?? - acoustic and vocals - (I can't remember his name, but was with the band at one point)" has been called Trevor!

Not my recording. I am just posting it here so people who might check the Archive for new Yarn shows a bit less obsessively than I do can find it easier.

I'm not a taper, although I have thought about starting just so I can tape Yarn.

I've thought about registering an account on Archive so I can help w/ Setlists and such, but I never have.

So this is a little bit of an odd place to ask this question, but since he played with them in this show it seems like as good a place as any....can somebody explain Trevor and his role/history with the band to me'? I mean, I consider myself a Yarn superfan, but I have no real understanding of Trevor and it bothers me.

I've seen over 30 Yarn shows with my first show being either in late 2009 or late 2010 and have never seen Trevor play with the band. I've always sort of considered him a sort of "frequent guest artist" rather than a member of Yarn, although I know he was listed as being a member for a long time. So some of the sort of sub-questions that would help me put Trevor into context...

    1. Has Trevor ever been a full-time touring member of Yarn? For what years? When did he join and when did he leave?
    2. do his guest appearances have any sort of rhyme or reason to them? I've seen him play in a variety of venues, different parts of the country, etc?
    3. Any other relevant interesting information? Does he have any songwriting credits? Other bands he has played with or in?

Merry Christmas to you all. Certainly I do not want to speak out of school here and perhaps Drunken Angel will provide some more detailed information down the line. What I know through conversations with Trevor (Mac Arthur) is that he is gainfully employed in a "real job". He also has two young kids at home and that is where his priority lies. As far as rhyme or reason I believe it is whatever falls into his schedule and is convenient for both him and the family. Most of the shows I have seen him at have been here on the east coast, however he was with the band when we saw them in Fort Collins and Golden a couple of weeks ago. He is credited on every disc (with the exception of Leftovers Vol. 1, which there are no credits, Shine The Light vocals only) with vocals and guitar. I have never seen him credited with any songwriting. That is about all I know for sure, hope that it may Shine The Light On (sorry, I had to) some questions you had. SouthernMan I look forward to meeting you New Years Eve.
