    Hello Fellow Yarniacs!

I really want to catch YARN in the tiny venue named "Godfrey Daniels", in Bethlehem, PA, this Thursday, 12/17/15. The driving distance is 1 hour, 10 minutes from my residence in Cranford, NJ. I have looked into renting a limo, but with a departure time of 5:00 PM and an approximate 1:00 AM return to Cranford, there is a lot of downtime for any car service, and the cost would be prohibitive, like $82/ person for just the ride.

Soooooo, I have checked passenger van rentals with Enterprise, and it would only cost only $79 Total for an overnight rental. If we split rental and gas between 6 people, it'll probably come to about $20 each for a round trip ride to an awesome Yarn show in an intimate venue, just across the NJ/PA border.

Godfrey Daniels is a BYOB establishment, by the way!!! There also a funky bar right next door.

There is the question of who would drive us, safe and sober. My friend Ricky L. said he would consider doing it, cuz he doesn't drink. If anyone else wants to be designated driver, please step forward now!

Would anyone interested in joining our caravan please RSVP ASAP , and if yes, how many people in your party? Contact me at rodonnell60 at gmail.com I would like to get a quick head count. I think we can do this with as few as 4 people, and as many as 7, which is the vehicle capacity...

Please feel free to forward this to any of your friends who you think might like to go!

Thanks, and I hope you come along!!!

    Cheers.

Christmas was in the air in Bethlehem. A nice set complimented by a handful of holiday tunes. Never heard Yarn do any holiday tunes live before so that was a treat for sure. A lively but tame set and that fit the room perfectly. Do not have a set list (because I have given up on trying to see a show and keep a list) but check out the Archive site as djeasywind should have a copy out there sometime soon. For those of you who participate and take the time in this forum I wish you all a happy holiday season. Merry Christmas, a safe and Yarn filled Happy New Year. I hope to meet many more of you out on the road. Peace.

    Hi,

Excellent show. My recording for the set is available on the LMA

I also recorded the soundcheck. As it is 1 hour long, i will post it separately in the next few days.

There were two other "tapers". DJ Easy Wind & Todd. Hopefully, their sources will appear.

Thanks to Taper Tom for posting this fine Holiday Yarn Show up on LMA! I won't bother posting my source cuz Tom had far better gear than my humble ZOOM recorder, plus I had "out of time" clappers right under my Mic. Ha ha!

Terrific all around. The show. the recording and the pic!

    Thanks guys. Thanks Yarn.

Thanks for the recording, Tom. Sounds good.

Just one note on names, I think the song you've named Not You is commonly being referred to as Look to the Future.

    Hi,

I have posted the soundcheck. it is 64 minutes long. I expect that most people will not find it very interesting but that is for you to decide.
