Looking forward to this one. The organizer of Rooster Walk also promotes the shows at Rives Theater. He called me last week and asked if I could come out and tape some shows.
We had been friends on FB, but I've been off of there for months. So I asked, "Just curious, how did you find my number?" "I texted Blake and asked how to get in touch with you." Yarn, bringing people together in so many ways.
The first show on his hit list was Donna The Buffalo and Peter Rowan Saturday night. Not a huge DtB fan, but I dig it enough. Peter Rowan was the draw for me. Anyway, Johnny says the show is sold out and asks if I would mind trying a different recording spot. I'm down for whatever so I set up a stand in the projection room and rigged up an extension to get my mics out into the room. Talk about set it and forget it. Great sound and high above the chatterboxes. Gonna be great for Yarn on NYE!
"And don't forget about New Years Eve at The Rives Theatre in Martinsville, we'll be doing a special mini set of one of our favorite singers and songwriters, just an all around bad ass. Don't miss it"

Wow, what a show! Sorry I never did get to meet hopped-up. There was strong representation from 5guitars, though and I love meeting other people who are just as fanatical about Yarn as I am. Thanks for taping, hopped!
Two excellent shows back to back. Very sorry I did not get to meet Southernman and hopedup, maybe next time. Just want to put this on the table, because I have also been confused by it, the official title of "look to the Future" is actually "Love and Hate" . Both titles have been listed on various recordings but the man says Love and Hate is the way to go. Happy New Year and thank you all for your love and devotion to Yarn.
