Not gonna make the Barn Bash this weekend so this will most likely be my next show. One of the best venues in NC!
Then less than two weeks later we get a back-to-back for NYE in Martinsville and NYD right down the street from my house at The Blind Tiger. Y'all come!

Booked a room and a train ticket. Raleigh, here I come!

Probably bailing on NYE because, well, um, yeah.

NYD at High Rock Outfitters will be a good time! And now I'm eyeing that Pisgah>Willow Tree combo in late January. Or maybe even see how the first week of February fleshes out. Atlanta>Nashville>?? could be fun.

Me and pops are off the train. A three minute walk to a brewery and we are ready to pre-show!

You gotta get up to get down!

Gave up and broke down. Totally disrespectful audience.

Went elsewhere with pops. First time giving up on Yarn.

    Fuck Raleigh. Still love Yarn!!!

Great night of music. Lots of dancing and singing along and dancing. Rod was smokin all night long and the low end of Ricky's base was up to the point that the floor was vibrating but the sound was still super clean. Fun night!

I was drinking when I wrote that. Forgive me if it went astray. I got a little too much pre-game in. I set up the way I always do at Lincoln. It was a big crowd, which was nice. The folks beside me kept bumping me and my stand. The third time my recorder got knocked off to the ground, I gave up. Had I been a little more cognizant, I would have just left it in the bag and run. The 20 minutes I got sounds great except for the recorder drops. I was using a new stand that folds down to carry-on size for the train. The downside is that it is not quite as sturdy. It wouldn't take much to topple it and I got frustrated with all the bumping.

And I knew I could see Yarn twice in the next two weeks at trouble-free taping spots!
