I made it to Brooklyn. Ricky said they are going to play 2 low key shows so bobby can warm up. Weird crowd tonight. The lady at the door told me it was a private event for law students. The band brought along a few friends and couple other Yarn junkies showed up as well.

Your welcome everyone. Best setlist I've seen in a while for sure. I thought Camre was great however Bobby is in another league. Better yet on another planet. His drum solo last night was a masterclass in how to play the drums. At that moment every non fan that came to Hill Country to eat or hang out at the bar stopped to take notice. The band told me before the show that Bobby will probably be rusty because he has not rehearsed. I don't buy it for a second. It was as if he never left. You could really tell he missed playing with the band. Blake said this is the best lineup. This show was full circle for me. I saw my 1st Yarn show at Hill Country when the band had only 1 album out and Don't Break My Heart Again clocked in at 5 minutes tops. Hearing Austin Texas 1972 brought me back to those Wednesday nights. Yarn is truly the best kept secret in all of music. It was nice to meet some new friends who are obsessed with this band as much as I am. It was fun hanging out with you James. I can't wait for the new album and another show.
