Yarn announced Brooklyn Bowl Nov. 16, 2014 ~ That makes 4 shows in NY/NJ in 6 weeks! Ambitious, but somewhat spread out geographically...Based on my work schedule right now, I can only make the HomegrownRadioNJ show on 10/26 & maybe the Mexicali show on 10/01...although I'd like to hit them ALL!!!
Who's going to Brooklyn Bowl? I'm burning one of my last sick days for either Blairstown or Brooklyn...but not both...I may go to Brooklyn if no one else I know is gonna record it, but I would know more people at Blairstaown...decisions, decisions...
I came I saw I conquered. Yarn brought there A game as usual.
The 2 opening bands were Morningsiders and Driftwood. They were ok but not on Yarns level. Yarn schooled them both with one hand tied behind there back.

I chatted with the band briefly before heading home. All the new people in attendance got them selves a good old fashion face melt. Someone asked Andrew after the show how he plays so plays so fast. His response "magic".
Very grateful for a fine NYC YARN throwdown! I only had one sick day to spare at work and I decided to use it for Brooklyn Bowl, as I figured the Blairstown show had enough Tapers...I guess I was right! Justin on the Soundboard was kind enough to give me a state of the art mix!!! He even searched for a few minutes to get just the right cable for my ZOOM H2n Recorder...Here it is!
