I got a Facebook message from 2 of my friends who told me that they were going to there 1st Yarn show at the Tin Angel. Ive been telling all my friends fir years. Each one has ways come up with an excuse. My 2 friends who wrote to me in Facebook love music but are not really into the music Yarn plays. I can t wait to hear there review and find out what they thought of the show.
Here is the review my friend posted on Facebook about her 1st Yarn show. The show was awesome! They sounded even better live than what I've heard. They had a really great sound...and such a varied sound. One of my favorite songs was Abilene, they did this awesome jam with it. But yeah...I'm hooked So is Ben.
Myself, my wife Sandi, my brother, John G, and a new convert attended last night's show.
Your friends were sitting just in front of us ! I won't steal their thunder but I think they were impressed.
The crowd was small maybe 30, but enthusiatic. It was just Yarn, no opening act or co-bill.

Lots of great music on a weeknight, two hour set. 8:15 ish till 10:15 ish
My friends Michelle and Ben sent me another message on Facebook. They are hooked they finally drank the Yarn Kool aid.
The fact that they played whatever they felt like playing and didn't have the same sound for each song was one of the things I really liked. They are so talented and each band member really brought their A game. The jams were just amazing. The whole show was. I can see why you've been recommending them for years.
