    Yo Ponz,

I left three packages with Rick last night for you, Mandi and earlbny. Rick said you two are buds so I'll ask you to please help to see that the other two get theirs. Thanks.

Now earlbny, don't be shy this time ;)

You guys are sure in for a treat. Manchester was OFF THE HOOK last night. Second set went waaaay out with all sorts of jams~

Me shy? lol ok so you got me. I am pretty shy in person however last night I came out of my shell in an effort to find Ponz and Mandi. I had no luck finding them or finding the package left for me. I did get to talk to Blake before and after the show as well as Andrew and his wife and pick up a cool new Yarn shirt. Blake told that the sound stunk on stage. I thought it was pretty ok. I have heard worse. My only complaint was that the show was pretty short. I understand that different bands played in-between but I would have loved a 3hr melt your face jam session. The big 3 that they stretched out were insane. The band as a whole is a force to be reckoning with. Some of the jams had new arrangements. Which were so cool. The place was not fully packed but those who where there were dancing and pushing for the band to take the songs to new heights. The lone cover of the night was off the charts. I will be honest at first I thought it was a new Yarn song but then it sounded so familiar. I thought to myself that it had to be a cover except I could not figure it out. It was on the tip of my tongue. After the show I asked Blake about the song and then it all came back to me. I am such a spaz sometimes. I should have known that. Anyway here is the setlist.

    Alone on the Weekend
    NYC Found
    Christopher Street
    5 Guitars
    Bad Bad Man
Music’s Only Outlaw (Killer new aragment during the jam session)
    Standin (Townes Van Zandt Cover)
    No Future Together
Don’t Break My Heart Again (off the charts drum solo)
    Abaline
I Wanna Be Neil Young (Complete with Blues intro & Shane strip tease) (Classic)
Cat & Mouse (Are we gonna get F***** up tonight Yes we are) (Andrew pulled out his Jimmi teese)
I just wanted to get High

All in all it was another fun night. I can’t wait to do it again.

reckless...opened your package but left it at ricks place b/c i didnt want to bring it to the show. thanx a ton. i dont remember which discs are in there but the stickers look nice (one of them is currently affixed to ricks big ass hardshell bass travel case). ill grab it from him in the very near future...thanks again.

earlbny...i was all over the place sat night. front, back, side, outside. i guess it would make it easier if we knew what each other looks like. next time.

great show. wish i didnt have to rush to NY Penn to catch a train afterwards.

No kidding, I was up front all night in a purple shirt, hair in ponytail nursing my $7 beer in a cup...hehe...but I'm short so you probably missed me! hehe...I tried to get a few videos but it was hard to get over people's heads, even in the front. Plus I just wanted to dance and sing along, not tape it and stand still...Ah well...it was a killer show. If Rick's got the packages, I should get in touch with him and get them while I'm here. If not, it's cool...just glad I got to see a Yarn show again.

Well the band's got enough to worry about so I prolly shouldn't have saddled Rick with the task. No worries, I can always re-do discs and drop 'em in the mail.

Glad y'all had a good time....may I assume mandi, that they're better than ever?!!

Yes the show was better than ever. Really enjoyed hearing the new songs that I've only heard on the live recordings.

No worries Rick, I didn't read this post before I went to the show, my bad, should have and would have asked you myself since I know what you look like and all. hehe...

I'll send along my address to you Reckless, if you want to send more my way. Sorry you went to the trouble and we dropped the ball, DOH!

I have been working crazy hours this week. I was off Monday for the holiday and then the rest of the week I am working 8:30AM-10PM everyday. I have had no time to catch my breath and check in. Its 11PM and I finally found a moment to say hello. I got your package Reckless. Wow! I I I I don’t know what to say other then thanks. Yarn is hands down the best kept secret in all of NYC and the world. Thank god I am able to listen to my iPod at work once the kids and teachers leave at 4PM. My apologies to the purest that don’t like MP3’S. The jams are insane. How is this band not the biggest band in America selling out venue after venue?
