Here's Keith's recording from the river street jazz cafe. He's running mics about 6 feet from the stage and patching the board on a Sound Devices 744t, great recording. There are two more sources for this one 2, I should have mine down shortly. Get Keith's for sure though, great taper. ;-)
This was a fun show, wish the folks around our area would venture out more on weekdays though. Unfortunately, not a huge turnout. Don't give up on NE PA now yarn, we'll get the locals on board shortly
Wow, that day came fast! Oh Snap! that recording is amazing Bgreen! Possibly the best Yarn recording out there to date!
...and boys, you certainly did have a good show for the tapers! :)
Abilene is a stand-out for me, so great to hear how it has evolved recently, especially after reading RCs review from Manchester. This is also my first good recording of Schenectady and it is fast becoming my fav song... cant wait for the new album!
For someone living so far away from my favourite band at the moment, this is gold!
Got the redone 8/21 set two tous....thanks a million. I cranked the Lovelight on the way into work today...yowza what a fun romp that one is. Super clean Zoo and Abeline too. Again, many thanks to the tpaer~
Andrew passed on like 7 more shows to me at the Wilkes Barre show to up to Archive. As I get them up(early next week prolly) I can post here if you guys want.
Kinda nice to know when they get there instead of checking all the time. Some really killer sets - see below.
07/8/07 09/03/07 05/28/09 07/23/09 08/15/09 07/24/09 set II 08/15/09
Just a quick thanks to all those tapers out there. bgreen love, the 8/20-21 live set! I was at the 8/20 show and told the boys themselves that night that I thought they really brought there 'A 'game (minus T.'s lovley harmonies of course..). So awesome to hear that show live AGAIN on the archive! I was just surfing around on this website the other day, thinkin, "Damn, I gotta get in on some of this live stuff" and voila, now I have access! So I felt the need to let you all know how much I appreciate it! The YARN love just goes on and on-keeps on spinnin as they say...
