I just noticed the following info on Yarns website. This is going to be so cool. I checked out the show which I have never seen before and I am so digging it. It's like a big giant F U to all the Nashville pop. we could have some new fans if people catch Yarns Episode. The show basically has all those cool left of center kind of Country bands like Yarn play in the streets of Nashville. I even discovered a couple I bands that I never heard before. Keep reading to see what Yarn wrote. For more info on the show check the links below.

I thought the concept looked familiar. Then I remembered I first saw Concrete Country in '08 when Will Kimbrough was on. I only knew about it because I follow what Will is up to pretty closely. Looks like it has been sporadic over the years and is now trying to be a regular thing. I'm pretty sure it is labeled as a new show, even on the CMT website.

Hopefully they promote it a little better now, or only the fans of the artist are going to see it.

Thanks for the info and links. What a talent Will is. Without Yarn being on this show I would have never known about it.

From the link above: "CMT.com has launched Concrete Country, a new online performance series featuring gritty performances by alt-country and roots music favorites such as the Farewell Drifters and Lydia Loveless."

Looks like it is online only. And really new at over 5 years old. We will need to spread the good word, I believe.

I posted the info on FB and twitter.
  1.
I checked my local listings and didn't see it, so I'm guessing online only. I did ask on the FB page.

Thanks for the link Earlb but I can't see the video - just hear the music - maybe it's cuz I'm in a hotel in Italy and the internet is slow? I'll try again when I'm home in Züri.
