    I have been trying to get Yarn to open up for one of my other favorite bands the Counting Crows for a while now. I have come to the conclusion that the Crows are to afraid that Yarn will upstage them. Plus they could not take credit for discovering them and they don't want to give me credit. It's there loss. Anyway the lead singer of the Crows Adam Duritz and Ryan Spalding (No releation to Shane) from ryan's Smashing Life music Blog have teamed up for a CMJ music showcase with 20 bands playing Friday and Saturday Oct. 19th & 20th in NYC. I believe it's free. This would be a perfect show for Yarn to play. We should all right a letter to Ryan begging him to add Yarn to the bill. IAt the very least we can try and get them a mention on Ryan's Blog. Iv'e gone to CMJ years ago and it's a happening event with huge turnouts. Check out the following links for more info.

    Looks like the band is already scheduled to be in VA and NC on 10/19 and 10/20. I'd still be up for pushing the band on them for future dates.

    I won't stop till Yarn is the biggest band in America. One of thes days the Crows will be opening up for yarn. Lol

    I just saw that Yarn was booked those days. Dam!!! Oh well. Maybe next time.

    All my Crow friends promise me they will go see Yarn. I am still waiting. If the Crows just broke the ice and took them on the road or even just mentioned there name all my friends would run and check them out. Lol
