Apparently this band had followed me on vacation to the coastal town of Wilmington, NC. Looking forward to tonight's show with out the kids in tow this time. Just me and my lovely wife out on the town. Don't worry hopped, we are heading to Cape Fear Beer and Wine before the show. I'll let you all know what went down. Hopefully there will be a taper there. Hopped, we should have set me up with something to tape last week and tonight.

Frank should be there holding it down for the tapers.

This may be The Year of Ricky B, but it's The Summer of Stevie D! Sounds like you're enjoying a Yarn-filled summer! See you two in Raleigh on Saturday?

No Raleigh for us. It just worked out that we were able to do our trips and fit in some Yarn shows. Sadly, we only stayed for about five Yarn songs last night. We got to the venue a little before nine and talked with Blake and he said they wouldn't be going on until close to eleven. So we walked around town had another drink or two and came back at ten thirty. Then we had to sit through some god awful opening band. Yarn didn't hit the stage til almost twelve. They started with a new song, I am calling it It All Shines Through, Andrew and Rod just tore it up out of the gates. Then came Down on Your luck, alone on the weekend, it's all over now, and maybe the best 5 Guitars I have seen, I can't wait to hear that one again. Turn the light off was the last song we made it through before having to head back to the beach house. There were a few people in the place up and dancing and having a good time. Wish they had gone on earlier, but that was out of their hands. And like hopped said. There was a nice gentleman taping.

A similar thing happened to us a few weeks back... We had gotten a sitter who asked us to be home by 1:00 and of course the band started after midnight, so we got to hear, literally, six minutes before having to pack it in. We had told the guys beforehand so that when a quarter of their audience left, they would know it wasn't because of them! :) Thanks to Frank for taping!

Sorry we'll miss you in Raleigh, badlab! I guess I should switch threads for this question, but who's in for the Raleigh show? Brouche???
