I finished tracking it early this morning. It was exporting when I had to leave for work. Should be live in the a.m. Trevor does a great job with Ramble On Rose.
Had some technical issues exporting to 24 bit flac, but worked fine when exported as 16 bit wav, so this one will be 16/44.1
Blake solo and 2011-12-29 The Camel are up next. I'll post NYE last since Jeff already has his up.
looking forward to hearing the Clementine show Dale! I think you have the Blake show date listed for the Clementine Show on here. Should sound great from onstage!
Fixed the date. I stole the Yarn Ball text file since they have the same source and band line-up. It will sound about the same as the SHe's Gone soundcheck I linked to earlier.
I seemed to have lost the multitude of USB cables I use to transfer stuff. The Clementine show was the first time the memory stick has been out of the D50 to use the card reader on the laptop. And it is the first file to give me any trouble with the header. Hmmm. Back to USB transfer for me.
And it's been hit by a MOO review. Appears to be someone from west of the mississippi. I appreciate the 5 stars, but the reviews themselves are baffling.
edit: looks like I flubbed a track split. No Future Together is bundled with Bad Bad Man until I can get it fixed. Aaaaaaarrrrgggghhh! I hate taper error.
Wow what a nice person MOO is! Are there MODS at archive who watch things? Not that I'd suggest reporting him/her.....I'd just go with the ignore mode from here on....but I'm curious who runs that place.
I'm a MOD at ryanadamsarchive.com and we've nearly buried ourselves in rules. I won't ever do that here. At 5G it's gonna be like this; If Reckless doesn't like it, the content or you go. Plain and simple. Fortunately, none of the Yarn guys give cause for strife as Ryan occasionally does. The whole internet thing is kind of like the alcohol question. If you have to ask yourself if you're being a douchebag on the internet, you probably are! ;)
It sounds great, hopped! I'm sure it's a challenge to get a good balance of band and audience while avoiding the chatty Cathys... And in the same way I appreciate Yarn for a different show every night, I also like the variety in everyone's taped shows! And for that matter, I don't even mind the chattiness - sometimes it's kind of fun - like the guy who said he was going to ask the Yarn boys if they wanted to go tubing the next day or, more recently, there was a guy having his mind blown during Abeline and I had to agree with him!
Re MOO - warring factions... oh no! It's actually kind of a bummer, but at least there's some humor in it; that revised comment cracks me up! And are we really hipsters? I had no idea! Up to now, I appreciated MOO's comments on archive and how diligent he/she was to comment on just about every show, but it was just plain mean to write that comment about earlbny's upload. Internet drama - yikes. RC, I like your approach just fine - just give me a warning before you decide to give me the boot! Have I ever mentioned how smart and talented I think you are?! ;)
I call this one "The Conversation", as there are three douches carrying one on for almost the entire show. I may post the stage lip source by itself as well. I know Blake prefers audience recordings and I do too. But I just can't stop the ignoranuses from fucking up virtually every audience source at crowded shows. Uploading now.
