    I just tried to contribute but after I signed in to my Amazon account it said it was a no go. Bug in the works somewhere.

    This is an awesome idea. As soon as I get home and look over my finances I will send Yarn some cash. there are lots of drool worthy goodies from the band. However I am just happy to keep this band from having to close up shop.

    A local musician just funded her holiday project with Kickstarter. Big Daddy Love, who have played with Yarn several times, funded their last album this way. They reached their goal in five days.

    Remember, you can keep pledging after the goal is reached!

    Time is winding down on this and there is still a ways to go to hit the $15,000 goal. If you can give anything, do it. I'm sure every little bit helps. Tell your friends! You're planning on buying the new album anyway so go ahead and help the guys out up front. You were planning on buying multiple coppies too, right?!?!?

    Ugh - I'm so bummed that they're still over 4K away from the goal and so baffled that it's taking this long to get there! Where's a sugar momma when you need one?! Or where are 4,000 some-odd FB fans? I upped my pledge, but it's just a drop in the friggin' bucket.. :(

    Can't blame them. I've given all I can. It's got to be the timing of it. I wonder if this had been started after the holidays if they would have reached their goal by this point in the drive. I feel bad for the guys and wish I knew of a way to motivate people to help them out.

    I just upgraded my pledge. Figured I would've seen X many shows had I been in the states so they've lost out on ticket sales from me and I KNOW I've lost out on seeing them!!! MAn I hope they make their goal. I want them to get all the $ they've got pledged!

    Yahoo!!! Looks like a couple of people Pledged for parties today and the total is over 16k!!! The guys reached their goal and then some. Still twelve days to go. Maybe they can hit 18k before its done.

    My friend Laurel got hers. I don't know when she got it but she emailed me a pic Yesterday. I am not sure if she pre ordered or did the kickstarter thing.

    Got my CD last week... loving it! This is my first go-round seeing a new album come out and it's really neat to be able to contrast the live v. studio versions. And it was very cool to see some familar names in the liner notes, you guys rock!!!

    The link I got was to a page with individual downloads of each song, not a zipped folder. Minor inconvenience, but I gotta wonder if the uploader ever used a direct download site before.

    Who's Allie Trant? I've searched and no DL email either. Sent an iquiry through kickstarter that goes to Amanda Fletcher. Maybe we'll have an idea soon. Would have thought the kick starters would have gone out before the pre orders.

    My CD and Vinyl came in the mail today. I love the album cover and the rest of the artwork. I can't wait to get my kickstarter stuff.

    Seems like nobody's mentioning this liner notes thing and in my usual spirit of full disclosure, I'm wondering if it's because of my ommision and y'all are being sensitive to that. Please feel free to express how cool it is to have been named on an album. I'm left to wonder if the folks mentioned were those who specifically kickstarted a large donation. It doesn't say that in the notes but it does thank those mentioned for making the record possible. Perhaps that's the criteria used.

    If that's not the criteria used, I admit to being slightly miffed over the whole thing. I made the $100.00 donation for the five CDs cause that's all I could do this go-round but tangled got at least a dozen friends to donate. tous, Brouce, empty_pockets, earlbny, stoney....did you guys all make large donations and if not, I wonder what it will take to get mentioned the next time. I'm not one to seek accolades and I held no expectation to ever be mentioned....just seems that among the crowd that was mentioned, me and tangled might have rated....hopped too.

    So was it an oversight, a slight or did we just not cough up enough cash?

    ...and btw, we got our kickstarter package of discs but the cases were all smashed from rough handling so I'll have to replace the jewel cases.

    My mention was based on the donation. I didn't choose the amount based on wanting a nod in the notes but on a daily goal they had said they hoped to reach. It didn't look like they would hit the goal that day and I didn't want any discouragement to set in. I was comfortable pledging the difference and it just so happened to put me in the "nod" category

    RC, the mention in the liner notes was at the $300 level and above. I don't feel slighted in the least.

    I do think a generic "Thanks to all the tapers for leaking all this content online" would have been funny.

    It was a facebook update they did one day. They said lets hit $xxxxx today. I watched it through the day and the amount wasn't getting there so I pulled the trigger

    Yeah - It looks like the liner notes thing is based on the Kickstarter donation level. I'm sure you would have gotten a shoutout, RC, had it been otherwise!!! :)

    Yes, it was noted on the Kickstarter page.

    Although if you believe in conspiracies, I heard from someone who knows someone that Blake waited to see what RC was contributing and THEN upped the level to get the thanks on the liner notes to just above his contribution level.

    At least, that's what I heard from someone!
