Ok, so...good news? You're seeing Yarn two nights in a row.
Bad news? Not many other people turn out for night 2.
Good news? They open with "Let Us Pray"
Bad news? About 1/2-way through their set, Blake literally counts the number of people in the club.
Good news? They turn it into a quasi-rehearsal and we get to hear some Leftovers and some brand-new songs.
Bad News? Yeah, you weren't there!
Good news? Andrew & Trevor both recorded so...um...maybe...
Even more good news? Mrs. Tous shot a couple videos links below.

Setlist (not in order and from memory so I probably missed a couple):
    Let Us Pray
    My Wasted Life
    The Dirt Road
When The Summer Ends (Video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0I7vf6rMb2Q
    It's All Over Now
Along The Way (Video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSU0XXmNaYI
    Dear Mama I'm So Sorry

    Leftovers:
    On The Radio
    Blue Skies, Brighter Times

    New Songs:
Lay Down Your Lovin' Heart (Video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHoZgRVlinI
    Maybe You're Mine
    Reckless
Soft Rock Radio (Video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nwl2_83iC4g
Shake This Thing (um "thang" if you're Ricky!)

I told Blake after the show I was channeling earlbny...Can you just write a bad song and get it over with? Folks, for songs that they haven't played too much (see the videos), these are pretty damned good.

Lastly...small photo gallery here (including a classic "check the book" shot)

I need to get out more. lol

What a sweet looking show. Yarn can play a song for the 1st time and make it sound as if they have been playing it for years. They are just that good. As the Counting Crows would say it's such a shame shame shame. They should be selling out venues all across the USA.
  1.
Awesome youtubes.....thanks so much. Wish I was there~
  2.
Thanks for the recap, tous, and thanks to Mrs. tous for the videos! Sounds like the fall harvest of new songs will be a good one! Saw "Reckless" listed as a new one - did Blake write RC a theme song?! ;)
  3.
Reckless actually isn't brand new. Blake played it at my Birthday party last year and it's beautiful~

Thanks to hopped, you can hear it here:

Reckless was also played at Old Winston Social Club by Ted Bundy on 2010-07-14. Maybe that one will see the light some day. I got the set list figured out a while back. I'll bump that thread.

Really enjoying this one - I love the standbys, but it's always cool to hear the new/old songs too.

Was that someone packing cigarettes during Maybe You're Mine?! That's such a distinct sound... They're packed, man!
