Well after failing to rally on Friday and make it down to New London, my buddy and me treked out the next morning to the festival about an hour and a half away .Beautiful day and Yarn had an early set. Pretty decent crowd as this year there wasn't anything competing on the back stages.
I decided to spoogle (a buddy's term for taping up front among the croud at fests) from the front left speaker set and Andrew's stage amp.....about 8ft out! I used Jack's AT-somethingwhocaresbuthoppedanyway semi-omni microphone and held it out the whole set. Although I heard a couple of digi spots on the ride home, it's really a remarkable recording. That mic does a great job in that environment so it's different than the stuff you've heard from me and very dynamic. Great to hear them on a big sound system. Our good friend John D was taping from the board and had stage mics as well so we might get that source when he/if he gets it done. Dude tapes all three stages of the whole festival!
Solid one hour festival set as you'd guess. Typically, the who-the-hell-are-THOSE-cats people started drifting toward the stage so by the end a good crowd came front and center. There are more folks who will perk up their ears next time they hear of Yarn as a result.
I Just got done mastering it:

....tous, hang tight. You prolly got this today and I have a call in to Jack for a mic description. Ha ha, unless John D happens by 'cause he knows the model number. I know that it's an Audio Technica. I also prefer it to the source above. The lyrics might be a tad clearer on that one but if you're any kind of Robert Bonhomme fan, this one I spoogled will kick your ass!
