So far the stream sound quality is like listening to a blown speaker underwater.

Hi all! Long time reader, first time posting... That's a perfect description of the sound for last night's show, Brouche! But as you said, better then nothing! I was stoked to hear "Don't Worry 'Bout Me" - I was thinking about requesting it tonight in CH if they ask for requests, so I'm happy to know it's in rotation! They had a guest harmonica player (Robby _______) who added a lot to the show; if only Andrew could wail on both at the same time! :)

And a standing thank-you to all you beautiful tapers for filling my world with new Yarn on a regular basis! I don't know where I'd be without my fix!

I'm not gonna try to stream again for a while. I want to get a better interface for my laptop. I've got to practice more and get it dialed in so I don't lose parts of the recording trying to make sure the stream is going okay.

Using ustream, I can't really monitor how it sounds for the audience without using a separate device logged in to the stream. I have to rely on feedback from the audience in the chat. I've done it twice now and haven't done any tests at home in between. Another one of those things I've been meaning to get around to.

Hold on Desperate Amy, there should be a taper named Dale at the show tonight. He is a gremlin, though, so he shouldn't have any beer after midnight.
