I understand he filed for an official name change to Absent MacArthur.

Seriously, when I googled his name to make sure on the spelling (hey "Trevor" is trickier than it sounds!), I stumbled on this:

    http://www.blakechristiana.com/press_fr.html

"Trevor and Blake were neighbors in Schenectady when they were very young, and the friendship continued through the years. Blake studied guitar, and at about 14, Trevor decided to learn that, too. Blake went on to study classical guitar while Trevor was assistant captain of the hockey team at Hamilton College."

    Classical?

Screw The Dead, man...ESTEBAN! Play some ESTEBAN!!!

Great to see the whole CT Yarn clan again. How often do we say that our last Yarn show was tops?

After a few days off they were really ready to play. Very intense first set with the sickest Along The Way I've heard to date....that one's becoming a monster. It was really loud so my ears are just getting back to normal! Tape sounds good although I might have run the levels a bit too high....I can't tell till the ringing stops! I'll have to listen to more of it to really give a review. Y'all know what my stuff sounds like....the DAT tape ran out to 2:27 so it was a nice long show with a set break. Terrific setlist with the added honor of Trevor taking his place on stage.

Hopped and I were riding to see Big Daddy Love tonight listening to " Come On In '" and we talked about not really hearing "Final Bow" live. Hopefully the DAT didn't kick before this song.

I seem to have caught quite a few Final Bows.....maybe they've been inspired by our sparse NE audiences!

I'll try to master this one later today~

...and you're quite welcome baldlab ;)

Agree with RC on the show. That first set was about a good a set as I've seen from them. Great song selection, pace and playing!

Good quote from a guy that was there, seeing them for the 4th or 5th time:

"Are you guys all family or something? Everyone seems to know each other and you' know all the words!"

    Dude...we're the Yarmy.

This one went out to tous in yesterday's mail. It sounds good but just not great. That's the second so-so recording from the Tiger......real tough room for taping for many reasons. I don't want to be one of those cats that prop everything they record so it gets an A for loud instruments and putting the chatty crowd in the background but not the plus for vocals that just aren't real crisp.

Still, it's a seriously well played show so be sure to check it out when it's up. The Along The Way alone is worth the time.
