Thanks for posting what looks like a killer show. If I had a heads up I would have gone to this show.

Giving this a listen right now and man, do these songs take on a different persona with a band. Dirt Road is just amazing, Andrew really sinks his teeth into this one. Very Nice.

Agreed. From the private vibe of the youtube videos to this coming out to now with Yarn...interesting metamorphosis.

btw, does anyone here know how to spell metamorphosis?

You spelled it correctly... I agree with you that it is very interesting to see how the songs develop from their infant stages to complex adult... I think Dirt Road is going to be a classic before long.

The Dirt Road on my Black eyed Sally's recording is EPIC!

I spent the last 24hrs with the full band morning songs. Wow! The dirt Road is indeed EPIC! It's righteous. How does Blake and co do it? Every song is just killer stuff. The solo in The Dirt Road made my head spin. I had to do a double take and read the lineup a few times because I could not believe that Andrew’s Electric Mandolin could sound like that. How is Andrew not a household name? He is a god on the Mandolin. Blake is also one hell of a song writer.

Bump for the evening... I have revisited this show tonight, and I can't believe there were only two downloads... man you folks need to check this out if you haven't.

Yup, some cool stuff on that one. It wears off a bit though in comparison and perhaps not as consistent as a Yarn show but any band with Andrew playing is going make some great music.

I was one of those 2 downloads. You can't go wrong with Mandolin Jesus.

I'll come forward as one of the people that streamed this show back then, but it doesn't keep track of that, I guess :) Very cool to witness the yarns being woven!
