Well, another fun show but unfortunately, the weather kept the band on the road for 6-7 hours (instead of what should have been a 4-hour drive) so no acoustic set.

The Ocean Mist is a true beach bar with a small deck that is right above the crashing waves. Pretty big place, nice giant stage, lots of pool tables, video games, etc. It's also fairly close to the University of Rhode Island but they're on break so it was a smallish crowd of locals. Probably 50 or so people most of whom were getting their first taste of Yarn. Judging by all the dancing and smiles in the crowd, they'll be back here.

    Full band (well, no Jeremy)

    Setlist:

    Strikes & Gutters
    Nothing But Time To Give
    Alone On The Weekend
NYC Found (true to form, this is when the crowd really took notice)
Misery (after which your trusty scribe could have gone home happy)
    Christopher Street
Liquor Love (this should be played regularly)
Fuck New York...um...It's All Over Now
Never Been Much Of A Man
    Outlaw (Andrew just owned this)

Dead set w/Ricky B on electric bass:
Touch of Grey (Rod owned this one)
    One More Saturday Night
    Scarlet Begonias
Fire On The Mountain (Rod owning the solo again)

    Bad Bad Man
Irish Jam > Woman On The Interstate

That Dead set was pretty cool. Crowd was definitely digging it. Countdown now begins for Black Eyed Sallys.
