I think this should be my 9th Yarn show of the year. Should be hopp's 10th or 11th. How many more can we see before the end of the year?!? What will next year bring?!?

Gonna be 11th this year, 12th overall.

We'll see at least two more this year.

    I've seen:

    11 Yarn shows at
    10 different venues in
    8 different cities in
    4 different states
    2485 miles driven
    10 shows taped
7 shows posted (The other 3 will be up soon!)
    3 shows with Trevor
    2 shows w/o Andrew

Can you tell I'm wasting my afternoon at work?

Yep. If you left CVBC last night not being a fan of Yarn, well, we just don't have anything to talk about.

The recording turned out great. Chatty Cathys show a bit during the slower songs, so I'll probably mix the SBD in on this one. The band was en fuego. Lots of cool interplay between Andrew and Rod. Rod played acoustic a bit. We got a full Midnight Rider.

There was a large crowd and they were moving some merch after the show. Apparently MoDaddy's in Asheville was at capacity Thursday night as well. I'd bet that next time they play Catawba, they'll be turning people away.

    Can't wait for the 24th.

Oh and you may remember doodee, he ran audio and video last night, so there should be a DVD forthcoming.

It was a great show and I can't wait to listen to it again. They guys had to jump in the van and pull an all nighter to get back to NYC so people could get to work the next day. From listneing to what they gave on stage you'd never know the torture they had ahead of themselves!

Audience source is uploading now. Matrix is finished and will upload right after audience source. Should have a link posted in the a.m. Listening to it now at friend's house with a fire pit in the driveway, Green Flash West Coast IPA on tap from the kegerator, football on the 80" screen soon. Life is good.

After listening to both of these sources, comparing the checksums, and looking at them in an audio editor, I have uploaded the same damn source twice. Pretty sure both are the matrix. I'll verify when I get home and fix the wrong one. Aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh!

Been enjoying this one lately.....very well played....thanks Hopped.

Boy they sure do crank out the Midnight Rider.

The crowd though, could have used a dose of STFU!

They are coming back to Catawba next month. I'm gonna experiment with some omnis either stage-lip or on-stage over the three shows I'll be at next week. I think mixing that with the board may give a better result for the chatty crowds.

The new computer processes much faster so cranking out a matrix of a 3-hour plus show should not be a problem. I will probably start posting 24-bit sources as well.
