Well it's officially up at yarnmusic.net now so it looks like a go. I was chatting with one of the guests from my party who heard Yarn for the first time and he's looking to get to this one with a bit of a crew.
We have the yarn goodin-nation (as you put it ) going to this! Can't wait. love this venue and its the owner's favorite band. Plus, I have to go because I may not remember the last time I was there due to the delicious beverages that were so available that evening. :-)
Hey all! I'm in for sure but some of the clan can't make this due to other obligations. I don' get exactly what takes precedence over this, but what re you gonna do. I will be there with bells on. Hung a bunch of posters for them and hope the turnout is great. Love the location and owner. Expecting a great time!
Tomorrow night, bam! Looks like no local shows other than the x-mas ball for a while. Hoping they crank out two long sets and play late! If its as good a set as at Sally's last month, I'll be psyched. Hoping they take a peek at that set and give us different stuff....including the new x-mas song. Hope to see many of you there!
OMFG that was ridiculous. They indeed played everything....everything that rocks that is. The place was PACKED for a welcome home party for one of our military folks so they played mostly the rockin' stuff. I'll wait for jgood's setlist or when I can master the tape but highlights were the Desparate Amy that's just another silly good song. Me, tous and jgoods all looked at each other like, how does he do it?! I also loved the Irish Jam that opened the Woman On The Interstate. Who ever heard irish riffs jammed LOUD?
I flipped my three hour DAT at 2:55 and then the second one ran out to 47:00 and they never left the stage! It'll be a little "crowdy" sounding, esp at first and I haven't checked yet but it should sond great~
happy & sad and back again. . . . sounds like an epic night, minus me ;( i missed everyone so much ! i did however dream that i was at the show and blake was buying me whiskey to console me because i couldn't be at the show.ok.
i love the momentum that seems to be happening, really looking forward to dec 17th and sharing holiday cheer with ya'll in miller's falls.
Well I'm getting this one mastered and the good news is that it sounds great and I have the full three disc set, the band news is that the deck mistakenly got set to extended play mode. So it sounds good but it's not at the highest quality capture rate. What this exactly means perhaps hopped can explain but there seems to be just a tad of loss at a couple of the louder places. Again, I think it sounds ok but I will make sure of that switch location in the future. I loaned out the deck to a friend after the Great Barrington show so perhaps she moved it accidentally.
This place is never as packed as it was this night and there's a post right in front of the stage dead center. I always strap the mic stand to the pole and set the deck on a stool at the base of the pole but no doing this time as there was no room at all. So I bungied my tapinf case to the pole just below head level so it wouldn't get kicked around! It is a little chatty but not too bad at all~
I've got a big package of stuff ready to go postal to hopped this week so I'll toss this one in the mail as well if that's ok with you hopped. If you think it can go up at the archive great, and if not, we'll spread it by snail mail.
Thanks to Yarn as always~

....and I know that the last one was my birthday show and Blake pulled a few rare gems out that night but still, in my last two Yarn shows I caught 46 different songs! That hasn't happened since Jerry was alive.
