Hoppedup, my wife and I are on the way to our second Yarn show of the weekend. Hoppedup is not recording tonight as there is another taper set for tonight. Should be another great night!
Tired of everything - 1st time played It's All Over Now Can't Slow Down Abilene More Woman on the Interstate Mama I'm so sorry Bottle of Wine - 2nd time played Bad, Bad Man Alone on the Weekend New York City Found Singing Jim Croce Down on Your Luck I Gotta Go Music's Only Outlaw Cat and Mouse This Whole Zoo
Taping was in the capable hands of Doodee who gave us the DVD from Evening Muse and audio from Olde Hickory. If it's a Doodee production, you know it's the shit! Chatty, chatty room. The louder songs should be fine, though.
Blake did mention that they had family there last night. Not certain who it was, but there was a guy filming most of their set with what looked to be the hand held that Blake always carries.
The crowd was "enthusiastic" and I'm sure the guys gained a few new fans. That's the goal of playing shows. Maybe as the songs and the band get better known the crowd will become just as fun, but respectful too. Lots of compliments heard in the crowd and people expecting to see them on larger stages in the future.
Is "Tired of everything" archived(org) anywhere yet ? Cant find a version. Thanx for taping these shows guys. Grabbed "Southern Rock" and "Bottle of Wine" this am, gonna spin em later when all settles and gets quite gere in bidnez land.
'Southern Rock Song' is what I mistakenly called 'Lonely Old Man?' one time on a set list and it kinda stuck. 'Tired of Everything' was a 1st time played in Charlotte. I got the name straight from the source and he confirmed it was a first-timer.
