I am planning on goin to this show but i cannot find where to buy tickets. Im looking to jump on the $16 'in advance' 2 show ticket as explained on their website but there is no where on the site to buy. has anyone purchased tickets yet? if so...where, how HELP!
THIS SHOW IS NOT SOLD OUT. It seems buying advance tickets to our Brooklyn show at The Jalopy Theater this Friday is near impossible. So just come on down Friday Night and get them at the door. There will be plenty of room; along with the 74 seats, they will be selling standing room seats as well. I believe it will be 100 people per show. Can't wait to see you all.
if you want to buy advance tickets all you have to do is call this number 718.395.3214 during open hours (WED FRI SAT 2PM-2AM) and tell them how many you want. you can pay over the phone with credit card or have them hold the tix for you at the door. you can also go there and buy them.
that is their box office number. $16 for 2 shows seems quite nice to me. see yall there.
After making the long trek from Long Island to Redhook Brooklyn I decided I will never see this band again. I feel this way because there is no way this band will ever top this show. They were on fire and in the zone the whole night. Not only was it the best Yarn show I have ever seen but it may have even been the best show I have seen by anyone.
The venue is located in Redhook Brooklyn overlooking the BQE Expressway. It's in the middle of nowhere. When you walk into the place you are transported back in time to the days when old time Country music ruled. The place had all sorts of cool instruments on the wall. Some of them were just for show and other were for jamming. One of them was made out of a turtle shell like out of the Flinstones. They only served Beer so Blake had to go next store to get the good stuff. The Jalopy had 2 rows of old wood benches that looked like they came from a church. They also had some old wood chairs that looked like they came from a school and then they had a small open dance floor and the stage. The sound was superb. The band never sounded better. Unfortunately other then some friends and wife it was practically a privet gig just for me. At one point I closed my eyes and the band was playing a sold out gig at MSG and everyone was wearing a Yarn shirt and dancing. Enough Rambling time for my setlist. FYI I had a little trouble with Theo's songs because a lot of them were new 1st time played. This show had a few 1st time played song.

Better yet...how about a link to a recording of the show?!?!
Earlbny...maybe you just bring that karma to their shows? We also saw a couple of great Sullivan Hall shows. I think you need to be at the boat show in a couple weeks to ensure another great show!
Agreed with everything said above. it was a smoking show. 'Man that felt like freebird...really' best quote of the night and right on target. sound was great as were the tecate cans w/ lime. too bad not more people made the trip, your loss i guess!
