As Blake has been known to say, "Fuck the 3rd album, man, we're already workin' on the 4th!"
So:
Rock You Ready Bring me Down Bobby Weeks Hard Luck Man Don't Worry 'Bout Me You See The Sun On The Road Lou Ann Turn Your Lights On Take Me Out Misery Let's Get Dark
I try not to second guess stuff but damn, Bring Me Down should have made this one. Truly, they could turn around and go right back into the studio and make that album above~
Today as I drove around town listening to a live version of Abilene I was thinking how cool it would be if there was a live album with out all the bar chatter, balanced levels, all the good stuff a studio can bring to an album, but in the live jamming format. An album where they can all cut loose and show their stuff, just jam out in a studio.
Nobody seems to do live records anymore. I have every Little Feat album that came out but none of them touch Waiting For Columbus, the king of all live records. Agreed that a live record would far better represent Yarn but I also think we're the exception to the rule. 90% of music consumers listen to studio recorded material.
That would be awesome if Yarn released a live album. however I always tell people to head over to the archive and DL a show. The studio albums are great but the live show is even better and so different. I know people that don't even go to concerts. Yarn should do something like the album Wormwood by moe. It was a studio album that sounded like a live album.
