Welcome, Guest

  1.
Reckless, we're in for this one I think.

Anyone else got plans to head along yet, long way out still I know, but I am excited about my first Yarn gig!

First time i'll be within 10,000miles of a show.. yeehaa

Now how do we get from NYC to Manchester, CT? :)
  2.
If you're free on Friday the 7th, you could head North of the city and I could pick you up and invite you to stay with us for the weekend if you'd like and we can drive down together on Saturday...if that works. Let's chat as the date draws near.

Very pleased that you're gonna be able to make it. Manchester is one of our favorite venues and the Tous's, me & tangled and jgoods will definitely be there!

Listening to the 8/21/09 Capital Ale House show (a great recording) gettin' ready for Saturday. Looking at that set list, there's a lot they won't be playing because of all the new songs. Good news/bad news. Good news is that whatever they play (ahem...Misery) will be great. Bad news is whatever they don't play will suck that we don't get to hear it!

Damed if you do or don't but it's the curse of a great catalog for sure.
  5.
    Happy Yarn eve folks!
  6.
Yeah, finally gonna see the boys live again. I'm bringing some friends. John do they only play to 11:30 like on the schedule, or do they play until 2:00???
  7.
Main Pub has been about 10 to 1:00pm the few times I've been there.

.....bump for the two year anniversary of the infamous Blakefest show. ;)

Blakefest? Inquiring minds want to know.

Um, a certain leader of the band overimbibed a tad......er, ton and had to let the boys close shop. To his credit, it was the longest Yarn show in history at over 3 1/2 hrs.

My DAT screwed up though so it never got posted.

This was a classic.....Apparently the Ten High shots were free or something because we sat at the bar doing them with Blake...during the set as the band jammed! I'm told (somehow my memory escaped me) that I may have danced like our southern Yarn friend that night.....I do remember hearing Yarn do what at the time I thought was the best version of Franklins Tower ever. Rc kindly told me later that it may night have been as tight and crisp as I thought. :-) One thing for sure....it was a big ol' loooooong party of a show that night.

Hey jgoods...if you're not doing anything Friday night, check out The Mallett Bros Band at Arch St. Tavern. Southern-fried americana from Portland, ME.

You don't like them...Mrs. Tous will give you double your money back!

Thanks tous! I am going to try and make it. I love the Arch! Great bar and place to see a show.
