    Hi everyone,

Looking forward to see some Yarmy strength at Captain Scotts on Sunday
This has become a fun stop over the past 5 years or so
I know it will be the first time in a long time that many of you will be seeing the band back in action
They are better than ever and you should be treated to some new tunes and maybe a long lost treasure or two

The show will start at 5:00pm
There has been some conflicting information out there but 5:00 is the appointed time

Let the Yarn reunion commence in the northeast!
  1.
    Wouldn't miss it!

Thank goodness Henri rolled through last weekend and not this one!

    See y'all there.

A pleasure to share the company of reckless, tous, jgoods, cd2go, dsquared and many other Yarmy friends.
Captain Scott’s is always a good stop for Yarn
Thank you all for being there, cheers to Brendan & Sue for making it happen. They are great folks.
Hope to see this crew and more in Hoosick Fall on 10/2

    Ditto Bob.

What a difference a venue makes. After suffering through trying to hear Blake and Trevor, this was literally the best sound I've heard at a Yarn show. Loud and crisp the whole night kudos to sound dude who I complimented multiple times.

Didn't keep a set list but it was a great mix. Three new ones and a GnG cover. I also haven't heard Liquor Love in years!

I also set my phone on video and placed it at the base of cd2go''s mic stand and happened to catch the entire second set perfectly!

    See y'all in Hoosic Falls!

Great time as always there for a Sunday show! Enjoyed dancing hard, eating well, and a great two set show. I tried keeping setlist. Below is mostly accurate I think.

Sound was indeed that good, especially for outside! Band looked great, sounded even better, and damn if this band doesn’t keep bringing more and more joy since 2009!

See you all soon at the next one!

Yarn -Capt. Scott’s- New London, CT- 8/29

Angel Woodstock (full band!) - seriously, the opened with that. Yes!
? - new-. Good luck HAD ENOUGH
    Long haired man
    Let us pray
Don’t break heart again - again, wow!
Let you down **- highlight. Maybe the quintessential live Yarn tune. And this version hopefully pops up for a relisten
Nighttrain!! - another oldie but goodie GnR cover
Nyc found- that’s how you end a set!

    Set II
strikes and gutters- my favorite yarn tune.
    Liquor love -
Love\hate (great song to get a beer or hit the bathroom :-)
Mr brownstone - second GnR song. Done well
More - reimagined from original and damn is it funky and great
    Schenecady - crowd favorite request
Sioux City - one word : ROD
Oncoming train - highlight. (Second time in a decade!)
Turn light on - one word - BOBBY
New one for CT - wake up ? - rocking dance tune

    Encore:
When summer ends - glory glory halleluliah indeed!

NOTE: 98% or more of yarn shows I’ve seen in 12 years have down on your luck. This show did not. Not a complaint an observation. Love the tune.

Great to be back in the fold and to see everyone out and enjoying Yarn. (I believe we have yet to officially connect jgoods21, let's not let that happen again). Very good show all around, hope my recording reflects that, enjoy!:

    Good listen, thanks cd2go
Was definitely on the fence when you were setting up, so much for fence sitting
But great capture for sure. Thank you very much
I am sure that the Yarn faithful in attendance were still impressed by how freaking good they STILL are
A nice reward for waiting so long
Thank you also for everyone who has contributed to this thread, been a long time since there was this much chatter
5Guitars is still personal and I appreciate that
Please keep 10/2 in mind, it would be great to see all of you again

I only have two regrets about the show. I wish that I had introduced cd2go and jgoods....didn't realize that they hadn't met. Maybe on 10/2!

The second regret is that our buddy Hopped Up wasn't with us. After suffering through the noise of the Hoosic show, this one was silly good!
