    Hello All!

Finally got access to post on this site and just wanted to let you all know how amazing the New year's Show was in
NC! The band's set and energy were just amazing and we had the best time. The highlight: At the stroke of midnight, the band did the countdown and Auld Lang Syne. After all tipping our glasses they broke right into "Shape I'm In" by the band. I had the pleasure of hearing the soundcheck of this on the street earlier and was so happy they were preparing for that evening. After that it was a truly worthy "Ophelia" followed by the always beautiful "I shall be Released". Then back into some more fantastic Yarn songs.

I did not see anyone taping that night, but I am hopin' and a-prayin' a tape of this show surfaces somewhere soon! Anyone? Anyone?

Special thanks to Andrew for his gracious company before the show. My friend and I drove down from CT on a whim to see the show. We got in as doors opened at 8:00. Andrew came and sat and chatted with us for 45 minutes. It is always so refreshing to talk to musicians who are so down to earth. Everyone in the band posed for a picture with us, which really made our night.

Again, the music was just incredible. The energy so positive, and I look forward to more great music from these guys! Back to CT soon, please! By the way, the new drummer Chris held it down tight! Loved, loved, loved his style and sound!

    Be well...

Welcome to 5G jgoods21. Sorry it took me a couple of days to approve your membership but we're very glad you're here. I live in MA but work in CT. Have you made any of the recent shows at the Main Pub in Manchester? If so, I was the ponytailed taper dude!

Thanks for the review and I too hope that show got taped somehow.

Hope to run into you at some spring date up here in the northeast~

Welcome from a fellow CT-Yarner. Damn jealous you went to that show! We considered flying down but obviously decided against it.

Thanks RC and tous! Absolutely go to the Manchester shows! My brother in law Derek turned me and my family on to the band and we have been huge fans for over a year now. I was at that acoustic show sitting with my Dad, sister, and friends at the table next to the soundboard. I live ten minutes from the Main Pub. I'm pretty sure I asked you about the show being posted and you directed me to keep an eye on archive.org. Anyway, absolutely was not frustrated waiting for registration to the board. Was just anxious to post is all. I will definitely say hello at the next northeast show. Soooo appreciate your taping!

Oh sure, I remember and I've met Derek too. Spoke to the manager dude after the 12/11 show and told him that he cannot book Yarn too often at the pub. He laughed and said that he met his fiance at a Yarn show there!

He said he's hoping to have them back in March~

Um...can we go back in time so me and Mrs. Tous can make the drive down for that show?

Ha Ha, reminds me of the Dead-Ex shirts back on Dead tour. When you absolutely, positively have to be there every night.

If we can go back in time I am going to Woodstock and taking Yarn with me. They would have killed it if they were around back in the day and got to play Woodstock. PA announcer: we have a very special treat for you groovy folks. Please welcome to the stage from Brooklyn NY the bad boys of Americana Yaaaaaaarn. onBlake to the crowd at Woodstock: Who wants to see Andrew make out with his mandolin while I down some whiskey and trip on some Acid? Crowed screams: Yaaaaarn. Blake: Let’s all get fucked up tonight. Crowd begins to dance in the mud as Yarn melts everyone’s face off. What a long strange trip it could have been.
