To all FANS who live within a 100 miles !! This venue, FTC ( Fairfield Theater Company ) is one of the last MECCA'S for live music left!! It only seats 225! It IS, UP CLOSE AND IN YOUR FACE MUSIC!! The sound guy always does an AMAZING job. It sounds like your in church ,but there is no SSSHHHING when your in this small of venue. Only dancing and singing allowed!! JAMMMMM !!
This is for the travels who do not know Fairfield,CT: There are a lot of great restaurants in the area, all within walking distance to FTC. My #1 Favorite-The Italian Kitchen. For all you can ask for in Deli & Eat-in Italian, Archie Moore's for burgers and wings and Colony Pizza for killer pie. Just to name 3 of my favorites!
This is a show not to be missed!! Hope to see you there.
So, I'm having difficulty getting lodging in Fairfield/Southport area. I have a friend who lives there but no couch surfing available. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced, decent hotel nearby?
DJ Easy Wind here is a link, there are def a few more out there you can check out. Good luck see you soon. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g33941-d673602-Reviews-Quality_Suites-Stratford_Connecticut.
Nice to see everyone again. Aside from a ridiculous new no re-entry policy, Stage One is my favorite venue in CT.

I ran a ZOOM Q4n camera with the AT mic. The audio sounds great though I'm sure that it won't best CD2go's who I believe had a board patch.
Reckless Companion, tous, cd2go, jgoods21, DSquared, great to see you all, as well as many others. Nice turnout in an excellent venue. I understand the no re-entry policy and once things were straightened out it was all good. But I must agree with Reckless we should have never got to that point. But the show went on and as usual it was a good one. "Maybe Someday" is the title of that song Reckless, been played a few times Look forward to doing it again soon. Thanks Yarn and The Yarmy.
What a difference a year makes; this show was packed compared to the following year in 2020. I'm sure the local opener Creamery Station had a hand in that, and they played a very enjoyable set. Great to see Yarn play before a nice size, energetic crowd, as is evident on the recording. As Blake mentioned, this was Bob's 100th show!! Such a milestone, keep it up good sir! A solid 2 hour, 1-set show with a good dynamic mix of songs--be sure to check out the absolutely furious 12-minute version of Sioux City Gypsy.
Another taper, "chk" was also in the house. We both used the soundboard feed--his mics were on-stage and mine were in the room; look for his fine recording as well for a good comparison of different recording techniques. Enjoy!:
