    This is the best batch of new songs I’ve heard by anyone in a long time. Yarn + keys = Straight Fire! Love is an understantment.

    I've only listened a few times so far. I really like the syncopated rhythm on the Heaven in You. I really like all the art, lyrics, etc. Those are really cool extras to get for purchase.

    I like how different the Alt version is. Think they will start playing Undone in concert? Have they ever played it? I haven't seen it, but taping really dropped off last year.

    My only criticism, a very mile one at that, is that the link I got said it was going to expire in 5 (7?) days. I ordered it back in December and happened to be out of town when it arrived. I'd hate to think that it would have expired if I had been out of town longer. I'm sure they would have taken care of me.

    I only offer that because I really want their model to be successful for them.

    It was like receiving a late Christmas present, and well worth the wait. A great concept for sure. I do hope they find some ( a lot) of success with this model. It comes as no surprise that the tunes are excellent. "Undone" is awesome and was a very nice part of the "present". They did play "Undone" on NYE, first time I had heard it. It is great to know that Christmas will come on the 13th of every month this year. I am sure every present will be every bit as good, if not better than the first one. Congatulations Yarn.

    Any idea if Lucky Man/Hurricane or Sioux City Gypsy will be one of the songs? Lucky Man is great,but would love to hear a quality version of it

    Hi elgrande8, Unfortunately, Lucky Man, Hurricane or Sioux City did not make the cut this month, but they will pop up sometime this year. This months release will include One Man's Trash (Side A), Old Fool (Side B), One Man's Trash (Alternate Version) and Tennessee (Solo). You can pre order now and it will come your way on February 13. Go to https://yarnmusic.net. click on the Music tab , and order it up. You will not be disappointed.

    Thanks Bob. That was really my questions, if they were going to show up at all in the series, not necessarily this month. Good to know!

    Well, elgrande8, I don't think we know for sure what will be coming on release, so consider this at best educated speculation:

    The recording sessions for what is the Lucky 13 were done in October of 2016, I believe the last week of the month. I believe they cut 28 tracks in those recording sessions. I would certainly look at songs that debuted near/around that date to be part of the releases. That would certainly include Hurricane (10/31/16), Sioux City Gypsy (10/1/16), Heaven in You (already released) (11/15/16), Too Young (11/16/16), Weary (10/31/16). I would admit I would be kind of shocked if those didn't make it.

    We will also see songs that were in rotation for a while that appear as part of the lucky 13. That would include One Man's Trash and possibly Lucky Man. I have less of a handle on what those might be, although I have some speculative choices.

    I think part of the fun is speculating and seeing what comes out.

    The release quality of these songs is disappointing. The first month was released in WAV format and this month the first 2 songs are MP3 with a bitrate of 320 and the last 2 are only in 192 bitrate. Surprised that there is no consistency in format and that all the songs aren't at least in 320

    Question for the Mac heads... Does the .flac format work easy enough in the mac environment? Wondering what a common lossless format would be between Mac and Windows.

    iTunes cannot play Flac, but Vox can. easy to use and free to download. works on iPhone and MacBook

    Our 4th installment of Lucky 13 featuring tracks, Hurricane as the "A side" and Promised Land as the "B side", along with an alternate version of Hurricane that you will never be able to get anywhere else. As well as a solo version of Alone On The Weekend. Handwritten lyric and chord sheets and more. ENJOY! and we'll see you right back here in May...
